How I can use apply Backup

Greetings i have some trobles with the software and now i cant even log into sugarCRM system. I'm using Sugar CRM community Edition 5.0b, It presented some problems in emails the when i used the admin tool repair and rebuild there was critical error everywhere. Now i only receive errors in log area.
I would like to know how i can use the backup option or restore the file structure because i think the Data Base is Working well just is some trouble with the software itself.

Hi,
backups can be restored only if you previously made them.
Basically this option creates a backup .zip file, storing it in a folder that you specify, so that you can use it later to restore Sugar.

Did you perform any backup?
