Question How to post form data from www to SugarCRM

I have a contact form on my www site and I would like the data entered into it to be posted in SugarCRM as a lead. I am sure someone has already done this, and was wondering if it is posted in a forum already or can someone maybe explain it to me. I am running SugarSuite 3.0c. The reason for the older version is because of a dependancy on the older MySQL DB.

    Thanks in advance!!

You could use the SOAP APIs (that comes with the SugarCRM) to stuff the data into the Sugar Database.

or you could upload the form itself in the portal area and write additional interface to save the data directly into Sugar. I am not sure if anyone has done this. If yes, I will be glad to understand.

    thanks

You can also do it by setting up a form submit to leadcapture.php in the top sugar directory.

In depth instructions can be found here:

(that thread refers specifically to putting it on a mambo-based site, but most of it would apply to anyone.)
