Default How to query Leads by Activities

    Hello Sugar experts,

We are trying to query Leads by Activities with no luck. Can someone give us a hint here?

    Thanks,

    The Gizmox's team

OK ... sugar flavour (pro/ent/ce) + version (5.2/5.5 etc) would help + fuller description of the query you are trying to achieve

    Hi Salesagility,

    Thanks for your response.

We are using CE 5.5 and would like to query Leads according to its sub entities (i.e E-mails, Sales, Calls).
For example, we would like to get a list of all the leads that posted questions via e-mail on specific topic, or the leads that bought specific version of a product last week, Etc.

We can't find a way to define queries for our CRM users that combines parameters from several defined modules and receive a list of entities of a certain type - in this case we need a list of all the Leads that where involve with the specific activity.

    Hope this makes sense,

    Gizmox

Yes, it makes sense ... the reporting you're looking for is relatively straightforward using ZuckerReport and iReport.

There's a learning curve ... not too steep for anyine who has used a report generator like crystal reports ... but this will give you full data mining across the sugar db

    Thanks again for your help,

Now, I'm not familiar with those tools, are they fully integrated within Sugar? For example will we be able to generate a list of Users with specific characteristics using either one of those tools, which can be integrated into one of the Sugar's campaign lists for example?

Yes, they are fully integrated and yes, you can integrate with target lists.
