    Default How well does SugarCRM track email "conversations"

    I'm looking for direction on how well does SugarCRM track support issues via email.

    The majority of our support jobs require many question answer sessions. This can be done thru email or phone. Currently we have to cut and paste our emails from outlook to our database and place the "conversation" into the history of the job. I'm new to SugarCRM. I've signed up for the live demo and watch a few of the can demos. What I'm looking for is just a brief description on how "back and forth" support jobs are handled in this tool.

    It works surprisingly well with contacts. I.e. if you assign an email to a contact all messages yo send will be automatically filed under this contact. New emails (even from the same person) must be assigned again I suppose. But then you have a perfect history.
    I didn't check what happens if you assign an email to a case. Need to test this at a later point.
    Why don't you download the Win or Linux installer and give it a try locally? Installation is done in no time and you can test as long and as much as you want.
