Cool HRM possible in SugarCRM ?

    Hi,

We are looking for some OpenSource solutions. I have tried the demo version of Sugar CRM and was impressed with the work flow features it comes with.

Now for my organisation we are looking for HRM (Human Resource Managment) solution with ESS (Employee Self Service).
Its basically to manage leaves, voucher generations, track asset etc.

My friend from other forum told me that SugarCRM could have all this features I am looking for, its just that I was not able to figure out the same in SugarCRM.

Sugar does not have built-in functionality for this need, although, you might be able to re-purpose some of the features to handle some aspects of what you are needing.

The bottom line is that you are not going to be able to do it with a standard install and you will need to invest in some customization.

    Thanks Angel
Customization is not a problem as long as we have 80-90% of ready made base.

If sugarCRM is my answer then can you suggest anything else for our need

You should specify all your needs for yourself and than look to suagrCRM.
If in this specification you can map your employees to accounts of sugarCRM there is a chance to use.
But it is not designed as an HRM tool.

    Hi, siddharthmenon

You could also analyze the option of contract some SugarCRM integration for creating which you need.
There are a lot of good companies for this purpose over the world.
Lampada Global Services is one of these hosted on Brazil.

    Cheers
