I love Sugar but this forum software is lacking

If I get an email about a message posted to a thread that I am watching and I answer it and then after a short while I come back to read new messages, I can not. It regards my last time on as when I answered the message and I loose all messages posted before then.

This would normally not be a problem, On my BattleField 1942 site I use another forum software and it has ways to view messages from the past, but on this site my ONLY recourse is to log off and then I get a "todays messages" which at least is a start. The advanced search doesnt let you seach just by date, you have to enter a search term as well. Otherwise I have to go Forum to Forum looking for newer messages.

True, while Julian has made some improvements to the forum, I do prefer phpbb's layout and searching ability better. I monitor another forum daily that i have over 1300 posts at and its a lot easier to keep track of new posts, my posts, etc.

I've started following the RSS feed for forums with RSSOwl, and it makes it a lot easier to see what's going on.
