I have been using SugarCRM (Open Source) to run my CRM for about a month. The one area that is consistently weak is email access. I have seen some discussions about this, but:
1) Is it correct that the native email within Sugar will *only* retrieve unread mail from inboxes?
2) Is there any plugin or planned new feature (or one already there that I missed) that allows one to navigate and view their entire IMAP store, including all subfolders?
My work process is as follows: do email over IMAP from Thunderbird or my hosting provider's Webmail client ,which is quite good (depending on my current location's firewall restrictions). However, when I want to archive received or sent emails, I need to wait until I get to a computer with Outlook and the Outlook plug-in, retrieve the mails over IMAP from there (always dicey on Outlook), and then archive it. It seems strange that there is no way to go from within SugarCRM and just retrieve the emails directly...
Thoughts?
