Import Leads and assign user

Hello, I tried to import some leads data, but always falied to correctly assign each lead a user. "Assigned:" and "Assigned Name" with "username" and "User's Full Name" didn't work either.

Could anyone tell me how to get this done?

Try using the User's "ID" corresponding value from Sugar's USERS table.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it still didn't work. I think I would assign the users manually.

You could use our tool Contact Capture from SugarForge it can capture info from many formats
and smooths out the import process.

Looking at this thread, i saw some similarity in my problem.
i have imported my leads but i can only assign it ot users 1 by 1 or a group of leads to 1 user. what i need is to assign leads to users randomly. for example: I have 5 users. i have sorted the customer according to balance in the account in decending order. therefore the best customer will be at the top and the worst will bw at the bottom right? so, i have to distribute the customers to the 5 users fairly. each will have equal quality of customer (some good customer with lots of balance and some with little balance). hence, i need the users to be assigned like this to ensure fairness.
