Default Importing Activities List from SalesForce

I have imported all of my Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Opportunities from SalesForce with no problem. Now I'm trying to import all of the activities (ie. past emails, phone call records, upcoming tasks, etc.). Everything imports ok except for the "Related To:" info. I'm trying to attached each activity to an account. The account is listed in the csv file but it will not transfer. Anyone have this same problem?

Working on the same project! I can import into the sugar DB without a problem, but for the life of me cannot link the imported tasks (activities in SF world) to another object (ie account, opps, etc).

    Steps so far:
Import SF DB into Sugar table "tasks"
update field "parent_type" to so that the correct object is referenced by "parent_id" (note for SF: "what_id" is the object that the activitiy is related to, "who_id" is the contact that it is related to)

    No luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

FYI: for exporting out of SF you should try Informatica on Demand on the appexchange... free app and you can export directly out of the SF instance db and into your mysql tables.

ok, tasks link to contacts without a problem... still cannot get the relationship between opps / accounts / leads etc.

    Can anyone provide some guidance?

    So far I have:
    1. inserted records into the DB... with the parent_id as the record id for the opp / acct / etc
    2. inserted "opportunities" "leads" etc as appropriate for parent_type

To no avail. (of note: id's are the salesforce id's directly imported in, not created by sugarcrm on import)

    Help?
