    Default Importing Large Lead Batches

Seems like a lot of people have issues when importing large batches of leads into Sugar. I know I do, and I also experience a lot of failed imports that leave partial batches in there and subsequently create many dupes.

Has anyone experimented with using an external GUID maker and injecting leads directly into mySQL?

Any thoughts on something like that?

Our lead generation software directly connects to Sugar via the SOAP interface for sending in leads/contacts.
It has been tested sending over 15,000 records without any significant errors. It's not fast though. Also, a note on the same topic; the soap interface doesn't seem to allow for adding records to a prospect list, is this really the case or is my developer missing something.

I posted a beta version of the tool just do a search for import tool and you should find it in the developers area. It allows you to capture information from excel, text, documents and import it into many crm systems.
