Default importing multi accounts with same name

    How do others do this?

How to import mult accounts each having same name but different address and contacts.

The only way I can see is to:

    Prior to import in excel
-create a unique ID field using (say) the concatenated account name + address
-use this field as the sugar account name
-import the real account name to a field set up to be the account name
-so the uniqueness is created by the ID and all contacts at this company/location get stacked under the right record
Otherwise of course sugar will get confused and place all contacts into one instance of the company account name irrespective of where they really are located.

    Any other ideas?

I would specify the record ID in the import file; we use GUIDs for record IDs.
