Importing Relationships

Hey Guys,
I apologise if there is a solution out there for this. I have searched long and hard and didn't find anything but find it hard to believe that this hasn't been encountered.

What I am trying to do:
I have a custom module, Orders.
It contains a relationship to Account.

I am trying to import the accounts, then the orders with the relationships intact.

I have noticed that the tool provided only allows you to provide and account name.
My data doesn't guarantee uniqueness on Account Name.

I really wish to relate on Id.
Am I missing something in the tool?

If not are the valid 'workarounds' to use either SQL or the API?

if you import with headers and import with an account_id as the header, sugar is smart enough to recognize this as the associated account id and it should link it for you. Note, however, that this is by sugar's id system, so unless you import the accounts with predefined ids that your orders know (i.e. when you import accounts, you have an id field on the import), its going to run haywire.
