    Default Inbound E-Mail, problems, problems, problems ...

    Hey folks,

    Normally I love sugar and I am using it every day for my work. Ok, it is great, but:

    Since sugar has an internally E-Mail client, I have problems with it. It is really a mess, every little update I hope, the sugar people solved it and every time only other problems are solved.

    Why the sugarteam don't faces this problems and solve them, basta? If I would be a bigger company this fact would lead to the decision to change the system.

    - German Umlauts comes with other characters, we have to change the php-file every time, disable the utf8 line
    - an e-mail with the same subject-content than another with an attachment has the same attachment automatically !!!
    - the order of the e-mails in the history changes from case to case
    - we have to type in the text in an html-field and an text-field, why? (I know no other e-mail programm with this double input!)
    - in a reply e-mail the lines of the html-content has bad cr's, you have to copy the text-version into the html-field
    - and other little things which complicate working with

    It would be great if the sugarteam could concentrate on this and solve the little problems, that would be a great step forward.

    great error:

    in some projects e-mails without attachments are sent with several attachments from old e-mails !!!

    help!!! my customers are asking, why they get that attachments!

    If you have the commercial version, support should help you!

    If you have the open-source software, this problem is known... and it is the same problem every update (I hope this will work a day).

    This is why I don't use SugarCRM's email interface... it's a pity because email is the communication's core of a CRM.

    I suggest the commecial version of Info@hand (demo @ http://demo.longreach.net/), the team is really dynamic... but it is not free.

    Hi,

    Yes, I am using the open source version ..., I installed the newest version and of course, my hope still remains that one day sugarcrm here awakes from his long sleep regarding the e-mail issues during several minor updates ...

    If I would know that this is a topic (or is solved) in the next main release, that would be great ... !

    Which line where needs to be disabled to get special characters to display correctly? I have found several places in InboundEmail.php (?) where utf-8 appears.

    Dear SugarTeam,

    It would had been nice if someone of the team had give me a response here. If I would know that you know about this problem and that it is on your agenda this would help me in living with that problem.

    Just a few minutes ago an important e-mail has been send out of sugarcrm again with 2 attachments which comes frome 2 notes of the corresponding project and which I have'nt attached to the e-mail!
