    Default Inbound mail, group assingment...

    Hi All,

Just upgraded to v. 4. Did setup the inbound mail, but how do I link the inbound mail group to a user?

    Regards,

    Francois

    Hi

Good question .. I've scanned the docs, and google'd till the cows come home, but this is about the only reference I can find anywhere

I have inbound email configured, it goes to a group, but I can't work out how to join / view that group as a user

Currently there is no method to directly send mail to individual boxes. Emails are assigned from the Group Mail to an individual, and from there it appears in My Inbox for that user.

    hello comunity!

i do use Version 4.0.1a now for testing, and have had a deep look today at inbound mail.

from admin menu it is possible to make as many users for receiving mails (pop3 using here)
-every received mail would be received assigned to this receiveing group.

    question:
would it be possible to modify InboundEmail.php for reassigning the groupname to a ident named user instead of a group?

    example:
my mailbox test@xx.at is assigned to test99
mails wil be received and marked for owner group test99
-needed modification: not marking for owner group test99, BUT for owner user test99 on receiving mail

    can this be done?

    cheers
    rainer
