    Default incorrect Email Batch? Size v5.5.4

    Hello all, newbie here and first post..

    I've managed to install and set up v5.5.4

    i attempted to change the "Number of emails sent per batch" setting in Admin->Campaign Email Settings.

    However, after i click "Send Queued Campaign Emails" button on the Admin->Email Queue sugarcrm sends out emails only 31 at a time. No matter how many i have specified in the "batch" setting.

    Any suggestions on how I can increase the batch size?

    Haven't heard of this problem before. How are you confirming that only 31 emails are being sent?

    Hello Clint,
    Thank you for taking the time to respond.

    I may not be going through the motions correctly but this is the procedure that i used to actually get emails sent out..


    1. i create a new campaign with the wizard
    2. after creating the campaign, on the campaign summary page, i click the "send emails" button
    3. next, i click "admin" and scroll down and click "Email Queue"
    4. on the "Outbound Email Queue Management" page it shows me "1-20 of 800" in Queue
    5. I click the "Send Queued Campaign Emails" button on the page
    6. After clicking the button it takes me back to index.php, when i return to Admin->Email Queue the page displays "1-20 of 769"

    So, i just kept clicking the button "Send Queued Campaign Emails" until all the emails were sent.

    Here's some additional background information..

    I have attempted to set up a cron job to run nightly on the server but at the outset it didn't appear that any actions were being run based on the cron job that i attempted to setup.

    However, when i manually access via browser http://mydomain.com/...../sugarcrmdir/cron.php then the bounce handling runs and processes bounces, Additionally, it appears to also send queued campaign emails when i access cron.php from the browser.


    I was really trying to find out if there was any other configuration setting that could exist somewhere to limit or set the batch size?

    Do I need to change the batch size before creating the campaign for it to take effect?
