insert date in case description

Hey there, newish to sugarcrm,
Busy creating a new case, what i would like to know is if it is possible that when i edit the description of my case it does so on a new line and inserts a date so i can keep track of what is going on in the case.

You can use the log for tack modification on each field. Look at the top left when you are on a case, you should find a link : View Change Log. You can add other field to be tracked.

Yeah that would be perfect, but one lil problem, It is the description field i am trying to watch over, but if the description is long that view changed log is not very easy to browse through.
What would you rcommend, if i enter a description, and then at another date want to add something more to it but want it dated when i added that section and so one.
Please help would be greatly appreciated..
