When you say that you can't browse to the folder what do you mean? How does it stop you? What if you browse to http://servername/foldename/index.php?

Do you have any other PHP applications installed on that server? I'm thinking that either PHP isn't installed or it isn't anabled in apache.

Do you have lines like these in your httpd.conf file?

    Code:
     LoadModule php4_module "C:/Program Files/xampp/apache/bin/php4apache2.dll"

      AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php4 .php3 .phtml

OK - dont' laugh - I'm a windows platform guy. I did not install pho - mysql - or anything that was not mentioned in the Sugar_Open_Source_Install_Upgrade_Guide_v401.pdf - is there another document that I should be using. The file I DL'd is SugarSuite-4[1].0.1.zip - is that the correct one.

I'm running on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise. It has SQL 2005 enterprise and IIS - no apache - php or MySql.

Personally I would abandon IIS and download the wamp stack from www.apachefriends.org/en. As a complete windows server noob, even I can get that one working in about 15 minutes.

I was considering just that - the only holdup is if I'm not mistaken - that is the 3.x version. Would I then have to upgrade everything to include MySql - php and sugar??
