Installation permissions...

Hi,
I am tryin to install sugarcrm using bitrock installation on linux.
I am unable to run the installation wizard.When i type in the url( http://myserverort/sugarcrm/install.php), the following error is thrown.

Permission denied: a
ccess to /sugarcrm/install.php failed because search permissions are missing on a
component of the path

I am installing as root and permissions seem to be corect.

Which files should i modify to get this to work????
