Default Integrating ExactTarget with SugarCRM - only reason we are stuck with SF.com

    Hello there,

Has anyone integrated ExactTarget e-mail campaign services with Sugar? It's the only reason we are sticking with Salesforce.com

    thanks

How are you using your XT/SFDC integration? We've used it before, didn't find a lot of value in it, and ended up using the two products seperately. Perhaps things have changed recently, but we tried this about 6-8 months ago after a completely failed attempt about 18 months ago.

Integration is much tighter now. We pull the SF report from within the ET interface. Part of the benefit is that we are parsing tracking data from ET campaign into SF.com contact/lead records.

Do you use Sugar - What is your satisfaction level?

Thumbs up Re: Integrating ExactTarget with SugarCRM - only reason we are stuck with SF.com

After using SFDC for several years as an Enterprise customer, we've made the move to Sugar. We've been watching the Sugar project for quite a while now and felt that 4.2 was the right time to start making the jump. We're looking forward to many of the 4.5 features (especially quota management) prior to going 100% live on Sugar, but once we do, there will be no turning back. I've been very pleased with the performance of the application (we run it on-premise under LAMP on a CentOS box) and our users find it easy to use. Sure there have been bugs, but the support team has been excellent - especially Jennifer Yim! Kudos to the folks in the forums too - they've helped us get quite a few issues resolved as well.

As we've also got some decent PHP experience on staff, we're also looking to get more involved in the community aspect of Sugar as well.

SFDC is a very powerful platform and they've really done an excellent job with it. As a Sugar Pro client, though, we are going to save $12,000+ per year and we plan to take full advantage of the open nature of the product.
