    Default Integrating with exchange server

Does the SugarCRM professional or enterprise edition helps us to integrate it with MS Exchange Server?

SugarCRM simple acts as a client just like Outlook. It does not require and mail server "integration."

But it does not access contacts and calendar in Exchange as far as I've realised it. And that's exactly what I would need.

If you're using Outlook there is a plugin that will allow a good deal of synchronization of contacts and calendars. The biggest missing element is still a problem with recurring meetings.

    Folks,

we are just developing a GPL Outlook Plugin. This will allow Address Book integration from outlook to Sugar (querying the SugarCRM Contacts out of Outlook - not the other way round). Find more details at: http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47670 . yet still this is no server to server communications (on the project list).

still looking for Beta Testers. This Plugin also different to the SugarCRM provided Outlook plugin does not rely on a local installed atabase on the PC but stores all data within the Oulook sotre supporting roaming of the profiles and the user and ease of resync if you ever have to reset your PC.

    Hi,

We released the version 2 of J-ExSync a SugarCRM plugin to synchronise contacs, calls and meetings between Exchange 2007 and SugarCRM 5.x.x.
You can find it on SugarForge : http://www.sugarforge.org/projects/j-exsync/

The plugin have not been tested with the professional or enterprise edition but everything should be ok. The system behind is the same.

You can post on the forum or PM me for any question/problems.

    Hi, Naitan:

Is the J-ExSync only working with Exchange 2007? will you have an Excahnge 2003 version?

Also, we use SugarCRM Professional. Is J-ExSync stable for Sugar Professional?

    Thank you

    Brian

    Dear Brian,

j-exsync is compatible with all versions of SugarCRM.
For the time being it is only compatible with Exchange 2007.
