We are planning to integrate SugarCRM with OpenRealty and were wondering if anyone has done this before and how successful they were.
Our objective is to create a complete real estate CRM and listing management system that is automatically built up from OpenRealty.
Initially we see two parts to this.
1st part: To integrate the OpenRealty property database into the Sugar product module. We would prefer if this were a live link but could live with an auto import to sync the OpenRealty DB with Sugar every X hours. The Sugar product module would require customising to reflect the fields used for the property listings in OpenRealty. We would still do all the property additions, edits and deletions from OpenRealty so Sugar will only be using it read only, i.e. the data only needs to be sync'd in one direction - OR to Sugar.
2nd part: As a real estate company we receive two types of leads from our web site:
The specific property lead: - This is when a prospector has found a specific property on our site and requests more info via the online form for that specific property. At this point we would like to enter that lead into the lead module of Sugar and associate it with the corresponding property in the product module giving us a 360 view of which clients were interested in which properties .
Saved search lead: - When a prospector saves a search then their details along with the associated properties they have saved are added to the Sugar lead module again associating the properties to that lead.
I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has done this or done something similar.
