    Default Intermittent Internal Server Error

    Sugar Version: 5.5.2 (Build 1224)
    Sugar Edition: Sugar Community
    Category: While using generally (mainly Accounts)
    Operating System: Linux
    PHP Version: 5.2.5
    Database: MYSQL 5
    Web Server: Do not know but am on godaddy.

    Install was fine - some issues with file permissions - fixed by reading forums.

    Worked fine for ~ 1 week. Initially there were very few (once in a while) "Internal Server Error" messages. They gradually started increasing and now (after ~ 2 weeks of install), this message is appearing VERY frequently (3 times out of 5). No pattern but seems to be occurring more when I am trying to view the details of an account - Any help will be hugely appreciated. Searched the forums but they only talk about this issue happening during install or right after install - please note my system actually worked fine (with very infrequent error messages) for some days and even now works (for < 40% time :-))

    I have added few custom fields on accounts, drop downs and drop down values. Could this have had an impact?

    And also sometimes when I click on a page, only half the page loads up (just the top menu) and then it stops and the browser status bar shows "done". Can these issues be related?

    Hello,

    I would suggest, when you next time see the same kinda problem, just check sugarcrm.log file. Is there any customization which fails or something else? Logs are always behave like a helping hand(at least for me!)

    Checked the log 4-5 times immediately after the error happened and nothing in the log. Do I need to increase the log level maybe? Also just to confirm: I am looking at sugarcrm.log file in the root.

    Hi,

    Yes you are checking a good file. Yes, you can change the log level to debug to test that.

    And if you are using apache, can check apache error log as well to get more idea.
