ISO-8859-1 encoding problem in email subjects

We have problem to encode ISO-8859-1 email subject correctly.

The problem is basicly same than in thread http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showt...ail+iso-8859-1
but concerns subject, not body.

Our /modules/InboundEmail/InboundEmail.php does not have lines 1155 and 1175.

We are using SugarCRM Version 4.0.1c (and are not willing to upgrade due our localization language packs)

Any advice?

When SugarCRM reads InboundEmails from email-server, some subject fields looks like:

Subject: RE =?ISO-8859-1? etc etc etc

This relates how InboundEmail.php decodes scandinavian alphabets.

There are some fixes for this as well, but unfortunately only for versio 4.2.

We are using older version SugarCRM Version 4.0.1c, and forced to keep it due finnish language pack available for that.

So hopefully someone knows how to fix it in version 4.0.1c.
