"DeployedMetaDataImplementation: View definitions for View editview and Module Products are missing" is the exception thrown after the installation message show in the image.
Steps i have gone through
Hi,
In Module Builder
Step1: Created a package
Step2: Created a module
Step3: Created new fields (in which 2 fields were of data type "relate" related with products and contact module. (Note: I got this exception when i related one of the field with products module).
Step4: updated the editview, detailview
Step5: save the changes.
Step5: published the module and got the zip file.
In Module loader
Step6: uploaded the module zip file.
Step7: Tried installing the module. The exception was thrown.
For your information: I used opensales to add product, contract & quotes into community edition.
Hi
i am just curious that your development instance is having same version as your deployment instance ?
If not make sure that both should be same. this problem may be caused by that
You can build modules on same instance where that modules is required , and instead of publishing it , just deploy to repairs( quick repair and rebuild , build relationship)
and from configure tab drag and drop that module from hide to available( if that is not available on main panel, **some time it happens ).
This may help

Hi,
The deployment instance is a new module that we have created thru module builder
we have loaded this in the module loader and we are trying to install the new module
during which we are getting this exception
we also tried running repair and rebuild option
but still we get the exception
if any more queries pls ask
hi Shanta kumar,
instead of going to module loader,
u can deploy module in module builder it self,
its easy,
instead of publish u can deploy module in module builder automatically it will reflect in studio.
there is no need to go for module loaded.
i think it may useful for u.
Hi,
We tried deploying the package by this way also. But after which when we tried
installing the package it still gave us the error.
The exception also comes only when we add a field and relate the field to Products module.
If there is no field in the package that is related to products module we are not getting this exception.
