    Default Language problem in shortcuts

    Hi

I wanted to copy two shortcuts from the Activities menu to Home (Notes and create notes) so I edited
/modules/Home/Menu.php and copied two lines from Activities/Menu.php
First one (Create Notes or Attachement) is ok, but secont (Notes) is empty, clickable however. I looked into Home/language/en_us.lang.php and saw that there is no 'LNK_NOTE_LIST'=> translation there, so I added it myself and rebuilded everything, but it's still empty. Also I've changed 'LNK_NEW_NOTE' to some other text (translation of course) but it still showing Create Note or Attachement. Of course I've cleared the cache.
    What's wrong?

    Thanks and reagrds

And did you do the "quick Repair" in Admin?

Yes I did, but it seems that the file /modules/Home/language/en_us.lang.php is not used, because changes made there are not made on the webpage (in home module ofcourse). And that's my problem. Maybe there's another file for that? or maybe it's not rebuilding correctly via the quick repair? Any ideas?

I had a similar problem. I cleared the cache also (or so I thought). Setting Developer Mode in Admin fixed it - at least I think so, I haven't come out of Developer Mode yet.

Yes, you are right. For some unknown reason (to me at least) a "clear cache" (included in quick repair) will not delete the Home language file thus the old, cached version still exists. You have to delete manually cache/modules/home/en_us.lang.php (or whatever other language) and run a quick repair.
