I'd like to set up a Workflow Definition that automatically created a Lead from an Account, skipping the convert lead process entirely. I don't need an opportunity or appointment created from the lead and the extra step is confusing some of my end users. I can get an Account to create from a Lead, even though this is not available out-of-the-box.

The part I am missing is how to populate the Account name automatically from the Lead. When I try the Workflow Definition, it forces me to use the same name each time. There must be some code that can be put in the Workflow Definition when selecting an Action that would allow me to automatically pull the Account Name field from Leads and uses that to create a new Account without going through the process of Convert Lead.

Any thoughts?
