Default Licence issues in Professional / Enterprise

    Hello!

I know, this question is not related to the OpenSource Version but I don't find any forum for the Professional and Enterprise versions.

I have some questions related to the licences for Professional and Enterprise. If I buy say 4 Licences. In which way is it controlled that I really use just 4 accounts? If all is OpenSource wouldn't it be easy to hack this? I'm not going to do this. I'm just interessed in how this works. And is it possible to buy new licences if there are more users or is this fixed?

    Best Regards

if you have a license you have to ask for access to the Pro forums by sending an email to support@sugarcrm.com

You probably could but you would be in violation of your terms you agreed to and would become open to many lawsuits from SugarCRM, Inc. Oh, and minimum license purchase is 5 licenses. Sugar Does not stop working if you add another user. but you should purchase any additional licenses to cover that new user. If a user does not need or no longer works for the company just make the user inactive. that then frees up the license for reuse. dont violate your license agreement for the pro or enterprise version technically it is stealling. The biggest misconception about open source is that it is free. Under the pro and enterprise license you have the right to modify or enhance the source to suite your needs within the license terms. Read them carefully.
