Looking for a "shop opening hours" module

Hello all

I am working with local shops around the country (groceries, bookstores, gift shops, etc.), and I have to record their opening hours for each day, for example "mondays, 9:00 - 12:00 / 14:00 - 19:00"

It is also useful for me to know their vacation periods, for example "closed from august 01, back on august 18"

There are many timesheets and calendar modules available for SugarCRM, but I do not see any module which will fulfill my needs. In fact I am really a beginner so I may have not looked through the right sources.

May anybody tell me if a module like this exists?

Did you do a search on Sugarforge and Sugarexchange ?

It might exist on there.

What you want is a module that extends the Account module, with a schedule that consists of a list of opening hours, plus a list of exceptions (vacation periods) that take precedence over the opening hours.

Following up:

You might want to accomplish this by being able to track free-busy information for Account AND maybe also Contact people at the Account.

Assuming the reason for this is so you can schedule Meetings or Calls only during days/times when the Contact person is at the shop, or when the Account (shop) is open.

Here is some detail, including some code. Using this, a consultant could probably develop a simple add-on module to Sugar for you, in a few hours, that does what I describe above...

In fact I didn't find any specialized module and maybe I should have someone create one for my needs: I am working with shops as pick up / drop off relays for parcels. So I need to know exactly when they are open or closed in order to tell the destinees of parcels when they might go and take or let their parcels.

The opening hours should not be linked to Contacts, but maybe also not to Accounts, as the shops are not our customers, but more like partners

OK - One way is to treat the shops (partners) as your employees. They can have different opening hours (free/busy) on your calendar.

Shop A is "working" (open) on these days, these hours, with a vacation those days, etc.. Shop B, same kind of thing.

Or, could look on Sugarforge/Sugarexchange for a vendor/supplier/partner calendar schedule free/busy module.
