    Default LotusNotes

I have seen that sugarcrm has the capability of importing contacts data from outlook. Anybody know if there exist some plug-in to allow import/export from/to lotusnotes?
    Thanks for any advice

You can use ExportWiz. A Lotus Notes utility that export the contacts into a csv file to import into Sugar. There is a free trial version that you can use. Here is the site: http://www.lotus-notes-export.com/ExportWiz.asp

I'd also be interested in any ways in which Lotus Notes can be tied in with Sugar. Just curious if there is anything out there.

    Yes - WebSphere

I think every Notes installation has a target painted on it, both by IBM with WebSphere and by all their competitors! Face it - it's time is done.

Funny you should say that, I worked for a Lotus Notes CRM vendor for a few years. Their business has actually grown considerably in the time since I left them.

In terms of integration, my Notes skills are pretty rusty but I believe that you might be able to do some XML import/export work. What kind of integration were you looking for?

Just trying to provoke some reaction really - Lotus continues to amaze me by surviving, and in some niches, even thriving. It may be old and creaky, but a lot of invaluable Lotus apps are still running a lot of businesses.

Oh, that's what I figured, no worries. You work with Lotus Notes long enough and you hear all the jokes - "I thought that was a spreadsheet program!" etc.

Working at that company is actually what got me into Sugar in the first place. I couldn't operate without a CRM when I started my business! Sugar is quite similar in a lot of ways to the CRM app that I used to work with.
