Mail Merge

My CEO wants to compare an email campagin to a direct mail campagin. To this end he wants me to do a mail merge to print the letters and envelopes. My question is can I do this from Sugar?

I usually accomplish this by using an Outlook contact list as a data source and MS Word as the letter and envelope document generator. If I still have to do it this way, how do I get my Sugar data into an Outlook contact list?

1) you could use the SugarCRM Word Plugin to generate mail merge files

2) you can build a report of all targetlist addresses and use an csv or xls output of this report for a word mail merge

3) you can write a mysql view for targetlist addresses and export these to a csv or xls file
