Default Mailing Campaign and SPAM ?

    Hi,

I'm a new user to SugarCRM which Community Edition looks great (congratulations to the team by the way !), and I have a couple of questions regarding the Mailing campaign capabilities :

I would like to know how is it implemented :
    • are all emails sent together, or one by one ?

    • How to be sure the emails do not reach the junk/Spam folder on the mail-client-side ?

    Regards,

    Steve

    Hi,

Not sure whether I understand your first question. Sugar creates one email per target and sends it as one. Texts aren't kept as per single (mass) email if you don't say so explicitly.

Question 2: This is a general question and can't be influenced from within Sugar because spam filters are based on a variety of factors. As a minimum: make sure that your sending server identifies himself correctly.
And avoid the word viagra in the subject line...

    Thanks for your reply,

Q1. I meant say you have 1 target : you need to adress 500 emails to a few hundreds of company (100-500) , or other case 500 emails to the same company (still 500 recipients) , if all the recipients are put in the cci field of the same email , in 99% of cases the email would be caught by the anti-spam relay on the customer-s side I guess.

If one email is sent to each recipient, no problem with spam relays

    Q2. Agreed
