Default Managing leads from legacy db table

    Hello folks,

I'm integrating Sugarcrm with our current little system that collects information from a form onto a db table.

The issue is this: the database table has fields that obviously don't match what Sugarcrm uses. I read
on this forum about how to handle custom field insertions, but could not find info on actual management (view, edit, delete, browse) of leads. By the way, I'm only interested in the Leads table since all the rest will be handled by Sugar.

Is there a "Sugarcrm-Integration 101" out there in this forum? Any tips?

Thank you very much for your help,

    Martin

I'll respond to this even though the post is almost 5 years old - it might help newbies.

Within the Campaigns module is a form generator. You can use this to build web to lead forms and never have to worry about the mechanics of integrating lead data. I have one client who has several lead forms on their website and uses work flows to act on the data as it is submitted to Sugar.

    Hi Martn

You can consider using either a soap api into your system or a integration tool like JitterBit or Talend.
