We were doing some brainstorming with our sales team over the last couple days and one of the guys came up with a really cool idea. I am not sure how it could be implemented, but I think that many people would use it if it were available.

Based on the MAP and Direction plugin, the idea is not only to show the location of a single address, but the locations of a group of addresses. For example, if I want to know where most of my customers are located, or where most of my turnover is generated it is only possible through reports, but not visually. It would be really cool if a map of the country or state would be shown with colored dots for each customer. The color could specify turnover, the dots the zip code (post code). If someone does know how to do this, we would be VERY happy if a German map could be included!

I know there are several external software packages that do this already, but they must be installed on a local machine and then the data imported to get the results. Not really practical with Sugar.

Any ideas?
