I've got a temporary status (a "flag") that users need to set just before they run a report, and then unset. I'd like to have this flag be as easy to set as possible, so I'm looking to use the Mass Update panel to do it. The problem is that the user is likely to set the flag on more entries than the number of results shown on a page (presently 20). I understand I can set the number of results per page higher on a global level, but that would be annoying as the larger number of results is only needed on a temporary basis. Is there some way either to have a set result ignore the number of results limit temporaily (like a show this many results dropdown in the advanced search)?
