Default Migrating Microsoft CRM data to SugarCRM

I have employees that have excel dumps from Microsoft CRM and want to import them into the SugarCRM.

Getting the contact in looks straight forward, but what is the best way to get the Activities into SugarCRM ?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated !

    Importing them through Activities>Calls>Import

But, unless you have the relationship between the account/contact and the activity, you are going to have to build this manually

The alternative is to write a MySQL script to insert the data into the relevant tables

I'll have to see if the separate account/contact export and the activity export have a relationship identifier in each file.

If there is, is there a step in sugar that allows me to link the account/contacts to the activities using the common identifier ? Or do I have to manually assign each activity to it's account/contact ?

I don't know the schema for ms ... but there will be a relationship between activities and contacts ... you may have to dive into the ms tech forums ... this may be a starting point http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../aa477389.aspx
