Exclamation MS Outlook + SalesDesktop -> SugarCRM

I'd like to get an idea of how many people would be interested in seeing a new and more tightly integrated Outlook Plugin for SugarCRM.

Quick Background: I don't work for any of the companies involved, My company is a potential Sugar purchaser who needs tight integration between our sales peoples primary contact program (Outlook) and SugarCRM.

I have tested SalesDeskop with SalesForce under an evaluation period and I was impressed with the way we could handle Account & Opportunity records right in Outlook along with Email to Account syncronization and of course Calendar and Contact records.

The situation right now is that InvisibleCRM (makers of SalesDesktop) are considering the creation of a version of SalesDektop that is compatible with Sugar. I know there is a certain degree of involvement by Sugar with InvisibleCRM, but I'm sure that a community voice urging the development of the SalesDektop for Sugar version would help.

And with that, I give you a poll 8)

I agree, with its complete Outlook-like operation and functionality, SalesDesktop is very easy to use. InvisibleCRM is already in advanced stages of developing SalesAlerts for Sugar and SalesFolder for Sugar which will be featured on SugarExchange very soon.

Yes - count us in too. The alerts would be really useful - but that kind of outlook integration would be a major winner for us.

Also, we're using professional - so making it edition-agnostic would be very important.

    Dear SugarCRM users,

Thank you very much for the interest to InvisibleCRM products.
As a product guy with InvisibleCRM I'd love to announce that we're going to release public beta versions of SalesFolder and SalesAlerts applications for SugarCRM as soon as SugarCRM update 4.1.5c is available.

The limited betas are available on request already.

Please contact me directly should you have any questions.

    Thank you again,
