Multiday events

Isn't it time to add the possibility to add multi day events to the calendar?
i'm not a php-coder but is it really that hard to do a hack that allows you to add the number of days when you create an event?

I suggest you send this to the 5.0 development group, since it's clearly necessary to have this feature.

We are a Professional Business Coaching Business ad MOST of our events are multiDay Events. Anywhere from 2 - 5 days each. It would be great if we could have them be set as 1 activity that breaks across multiple Days and it also needs to be only 8 hours each day.

So it seems that the model that would work best is the non linear. How about what MS Outlook has? There you use the "Repeat" feature to have it be

Event Name: Course
Location: Your Office
Start Date and Time = 9:00 AM to 5:00 pm Monday
Repeat: Daily
End Date: Thursday

This would only block those 8 hours each day for those 4 days.

For courses that repeat monthly: Copy the first event as a "Set" and paste it on the next dates. We could then show the schedule for the whole year of which course is where and when.

Is this proprietary to MS?
