Maybe I haven't seen it in the Forums as I just recently subscribed. I checked around but didn't see anything that specifically addresses my problem. Maybe my search parameters suckSo I apologize in advance. If anyone can point me in the right direction, this is my issue:
My company is an umbrella company composed of several companies. I am trying to see if SugarCRM lets me have multiple companies but with separate logins. Let me see if I can elaborate.
I need multiple companies to share some clients but not all of them. I have a support company that deals with the technical side and a production company that works with finished multemedia product. Because of the nature of the beast, companies that get a god product from Company 2 want to be supported with Company 1, or vice versa.
Can I customize my logins so when a user from Company 2 logs in he can see his companies and mutal companies shared by both companies? And on that note, can I create a trouble ticket style system that lets people from Company 2 put a "sticky" on a client that needs tech support and have Sugar send the tech group an e-mail or just post an alert when they log in?
Whew, got it all out I think.
