mySQL 5.0

I have searched but could not find my answer. We need to utilize the triggers function found in mySQL 5.0+ We are currently using SugarCRM version 4.0 and PHP 5.0. Will we run into any trouble upgrading from our current mySQL (4.1.1 i believe) Thank you!

We have been using MySQL 5.0 successfully on our of our boxes for months. We have not used triggers however. The only issue getting PHP to support MySQL 5.0 since you may need to compile that support in depending on your distro.

I recommend you to be carefull about it, as mysql 5.0 is not in the recomended stack.
The recommended Stack is :

PHP version 4.3.11
MySQL database 4.1.15
Apache 2.0.x

In our case we had some problems with mysql 5, but maybe because we tried with an earlier edition of sugar.

Thanks for the responses, we have not made a move yet and are still looking into alternatives...Keep me posted if you have any more insight as time progresses.
