    Cool (mySQL) Not Available

I'm trying to install a fresh version of the new 4.0.0 using RH Fedora Core 4.

On "System Check Acceptance", it says PHP 5.0.4 is recognized ok, but the next line is blank and it says "Not Available". Presumably, this means it can't find a database.

I have mysql 14.7 installed (RH distrib 4.1.11), and can access it ok from the command line.

Anyone having any similary anecdotal experience with this? Can't get past the System Acceptance ...

    Dave

Apparently this has to do with a PHP5 issue.

    See: http://sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4606

Note: /etc/php.ini must be updated to make this work ok. Some of these settings may not be specified in the install instructions.
