Hey all,
Well I have just set up an installation of SugarCRM Open Source with the TeamOS module loaded up I logged into the admin and loaded up some test accounts - I creat some employees with some user account and here is where the porblems start. I can see all the accounts from both the test users that I have imported using the Admin loggin, once a user creates a new account the other user canot see that account and the same goes with the cases. What we need is the ability for all the employees to access all the accounts regardless of who would have created them also we need to be able to assigne cases to individuals and have the case open for everyone to see as well.
Here is the scenario,
We are a small reseller we have 10 employess
Most are customer service reps
1 in accounting
1 in provisioning
The CSR's need to be able to assigne cases to either Provissioning or accounting depending on the need and still be able to see and update the customer on the current case status.
I have been working with the TeamOS module and have had no success getting users assigned to teams that I have created - they do not appear on the team list in the user creation all I can do is add a new team to the user and allow them to see the other teams.
I can assigne accounts to the teams but that does not seem toi help.
I have worked with the roles and still seem a little foggy on that. Here is my accounts settings for the Roles
Accounts Enabled None All None None All All
I am running with the following config
SugarCRM Open Source
Version 4.5.0h (Build 1239)
With only the one module
Teams Open Source module 3.0a
Now any help in this would be grealty appreciated even links to some usefull docs would help I really beleive sugar will be a nice fit for our company if I can ever get it to work the way I think it can.
Thanks in advance
