New to Sugar,need help exporting data

I am new to sugar and need a ton of help. Most pressing is my need to export every single customer/potential customer to an excel spreadsheet. I have googled it and I am not seeing the same things on my screen that the "instructions" are saying. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks -JB

You need to install Kinamu reporter

SugarForge: KINAMU Reporter: Project Info

You will need to install the follwing

KINAMUBasePackage V 1 0.zip
KReporterBasic V 2 6 1.zip

through admin --> module loader

Then you can start designing your reports, generate them and export them to excel

Hello,

You can easily Export customers out of SugarCRM into a CSV file by simple steps:

1. Go to Accounts list view
2. Select the accounts you want to export by clicking check boxes or Select All
3. Click on "Actions" where there would be a link for "Export". It would export a CSV file on your computer.

Before Exporting the Accounts, you may filter accounts on the parameters/fields and search the complete accounts to export specific customers. To add a new search criteria, you can go into "Studio" on Administrator page and do following:

1. Click Studio under Developer Tools
2. Select Account
3. Select Layouts
4. Select Search then Basic or Advanced Search
5. Drag and drop the fields you would like to search on into default column

You also could consider to extract it using some MySQL Database adminsitor tool.
These tools normally have the functionality to export the sqls result set to excel.
