Nigerian Spammers/Scammers using forum PMs

I would have never expected this, here, and have only recieved one of these types of emails (regular email) in my 13 years on the net, while I hear from friends and associates they get these things often..

Any chance of a decent keyword type algorithm for vBullettin and/or other forums for the filtering of these pretty standard and templated like consistent emails?

I personally have never looked into it, and dunno, though I could take the time to Google it real well, it's just not of a high enough priority or concern to me..

Though, for a forum, I can see these people re-registering and it being an ongoing problem with the only feasible or possible solution being that of keyword and/or phrase analyzation.

I got one of these, too, and was just about to start a thread to report it myself.

There surely must be some way to stop this (and the incessant spam advertising for consumer electronics).
