Notification of upcoming activities?

How can I make sure that Sugar 5.2 CE is sending out notifications prior to schedudles phone calls or due dates/times of tasks?

If I create an outgoing call for, say, tomorrow 11 a.m., I'd like to receive a E-Mail or Twitter tweet or even cell phone text message at or before 11. The same goes for due dates of tasks and other activities.

How can that be done?

Needs custom coding ... no automatic way of doing ... you could try Process Manager from the forge and look at customising that

the out of the box reminder functionality within the system is to have a popup notification appear within the CRM when you are logged in. Salesagility is correct, the types of notifications you are talking about would require custom coding.

Thanks for your answers. That's too bad - I hope the Sugar team will include that kind of feature soon as it would make work so much easier...
