    Default Number of Users

    Hi,

    Im just curious, if ever i have exceeded the number or Users in Sugar there will be a warning display(see below) default number of users is 0.

    Warning: User licenses exceeded by 1. Please contact your sales representative or email cagroup@sugarcrm.com.


    Why is it that i can easily edit the Number of users in the License Management Section of the Admin Page? Making the Warning display disappear? Is there a limit to this?

    I amu using SugarCRM Enterprise Edition 5.0

    Yes, there is a limit.

    Although it is possible to edit the value corresponding to the number of users at will; the license requires periodic validation and entering a user count that is greater than what you purchased would easily be discovered, not to mention the fact you would have already been in violation of the license terms to begin with.

    Hi there,

    We are also having the same issue.
    We have installed a new instance of Sugar Professional and got this same error message.

    Unfortunately we had 5 users running on another Pro instance and forgot to disable them before installing the new instance. We have now disabled some of the users in our original Pro instance (so are technically within our license limit now) and are just waiting for the warning on the new instance to disappear.

    Any idea how long we would have to wait for the warning message to disappear (assuming it periodically updates information), or will we need to contact Sugar Support as suggested by the warning message?

    Login as admin, then click Admin > License Management and validate your license. If all is OK, it should go away immediately.
