offline sync in CRM

i am using sugarcrm4.0

want to implement Offline syncronization
The ability to install an edition of SugarCRM to a desktop computer and then syncronize changes made between the desktop edition and the server edition. This is meant for clients who do not have continuous internet access.

i am little confuse how to perform this.

please give me an idea or solution to implement this.

There is no such capability in the Open Source (or Pro) version - only in Enterprise, or as an option for Pro.

It would be a worthwhile project for a group to take on.
