OS Edition vs CE edition

Hello there,

I'm hopefully asking this question in the correct area, and if not, I understand if you need to vent at me for it , plus the fact that I may just have missed this answer looking through the many threads, but I just want to know if when everyone speaks about versions 4.5.1x of Sugar CE, if they're refering to the Open Source edition, or if there's even a difference?

I went to my version that I downloaded and installed a long time ago to try it out (haven't really been worrying about upgrading until now - too bust playing with it) to check what version I have to upgrade, and it doesn't say CE anywhere, it lists it as 'Sugar Open Source ver 4.5.1f', but when I go to the upgrade/download area on the site, all I see is CE editions. Is this the same thing?

Just don't want to go through all the upgrade steps only to find out they're 2 separate types and blow it all up.

SugarCRM just calls the Open Source version OS for 4.5.1 and before, and CE for 5.0 and beyond.

One other point that is of significance..

CE is licensed under the GPL license, while OS is not.
