Red face osCommerce, Sage Line 50, SugarCRM - VS - NetSuite?

    Hello everybody,

I am having some challenges (opportunities) and I am confiden that you will be able to help me out. I have an online store, sell to end users but also to resellers and corporates.

We planed to go with NetSuite for the whole package (CRM, ERP, online store, etc.) but because I thought that the store was not flexible enough, I chose a customised of osCommerce.
My plan was to connect that store to NetSuite and be happy. But at this stage there are some decisions that force me to find an alternative; just in case.

I did some research and now I am wondering if I am able to "really" connect SugarCRM with osCommerce (I found something here http://www.sugarforge.org/projects/osc-sugar-integ/) and also with Sage Line 50.

Sage and osC talk to each other, but will SugarCRM also be able to do this in a workable manner?

I hope that you all laugh and help me to understand how good SugarCRM is :-). From what I have seen it looks great, but will it be able to do the same as NetSuite?

    Thank you very much!

    Hello everybody,

It might also be an option to replace the ERP SageLine 50 with Mamut.

Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

    Thank you very much!

    Regards

Aye ... yet another proprietary vendor ... swimming against the tide ... Netsuite is tired old vendor lock-in territory ... forward thinking companies will opt for Open Source against the old model.
