I have one user (out of 6) who has a speed problem with SugarCRM 4 - her home page loads in about 46 seconds! Admittedly, she is the most active user and her appointments list for the next month has about 160 entries but I still think this is slow. The user is running Firefox 1.07 and we have tried with and without the fasterfox plugin. Here's what I've looked at so far:
1) If I login as this user on the server's LAN, I get her home page in <3 seconds.
2) If I login as this user on another remote site (2Mb broadband) I get her home page in about 36 seconds. If I limit the appointments view to 'today' I get the home page in 16 seconds.
For the sake of completeness I have also done the following:
3) Checked broadband speed (512K) with online test - getting about 480K download and 260 upload so that looks OK. All other browsing and file transfers are performing as expected.
4) Checked laptop - behchmarks as expected
5) Checked wireless connection - signal strength good and no significant error counts.
6) Tried different wifi channels
7) Checked broadband router by substitution
8) Checked DNS settings.
Sever is an in-house built P4/3.0GHz with 1GB RAM and software RAID 1 250GB SATA disks.
OS is CentOS4 (RHEL EL4) with PHP 4.3.9, Apache 2.0.52 and MYSQL 4.1.12
hdparm -T -t gives buffered disk reads: 184 MB in 3.02 seconds = 61.02 MB/sec.
We are running EAccelerator with the following parameters:
#NK EAccelerator
extension="eaccelerator.so"
eaccelerator.shm_size="16"
eaccelerator.cache_dir="/tmp/eaccelerator"
eaccelerator.enable="1"
eaccelerator.optimizer="1"
eaccelerator.check_mtime="1"
eaccelerator.debug="0"
eaccelerator.filter=""
eaccelerator.shm_max="0"
eaccelerator.shm_ttl="0"
eaccelerator.shm_prune_period="0"
eaccelerator.shm_only="0"
eaccelerator.compress="1"
eaccelerator.compress_level="9"
Can anyone give me their feelings on the page load time.and what might be worth checking!?
Thanks
NK
