In my search for some numbers on typical bandwidth per user for sugar, I came across the following site. Impact of APC Module on PHP Performance

Their demo performance benchmarking shows some nice info and uses sugarcrm as a testsubject .

The numbers help to give some indication and from their conclusion it is better to go with APC 2.8 than zend optimizer (2.8 times the users when enabling APC against the same amount of users for zend(no improvement)
